One of the traditions of the INM weekend is the promotion of your country by performing something unusual of just something stupid. We will start by playing your national anthem and after that, the floor is yours.
 

 

 

THE HISTORY:

A Nations night was a festive event during the Middle Ages that involved jousting, feasting, and dancing in imitation of RT42 legendary court. Named for Arthur's famed Round Table, the festivals generally involved jousts with blunted weapons, and often celebrated the gathering of international RT42’s. In some cases participants dressed in the costume of such well-known knights as Lancelot (read dressed in tights). The first recorded instance of this activity was in 1223, when the Crusader lord of Woold held one in WINTERSWIJK to celebrate the knighting of his eldest sons

Nowadays this has transformed in festivities known as the NATIONSNIGHT.

 

 

As performing on this event is mandatory, we expect a good show. For those who attempt to poison and destroy this habit, you will know our name is The Lord and we will lay our vengeance upon the. (Pulp Fiction ;-))

This years’ theme is Somerville. What we intend to achieve is a smashing evening with this “Eighties Theme”. You can think about music from artists like The Bronsky Beat, Queen, Talk Talk, Modern Talking, Rik Ashley, Wham, The Communards and Womack and Womack. Dressed up in tights and bare chest with black moustache will be highly appreciated.

For the ladies as well. ;-)                           or else…….
